Fingernails are useful for more than just scratching an itch. They serve to protect your delicate skin underneath your fingers. Fake nails do not, however, do much to strengthen your nails because they restrict the oxygen to your real nails. That said, nails of all sorts make for great canvasses for creative art. Among these pictures are a few examples of some great designs that artists—perhaps ones with too much time on their hands—have drawn upon their digits. Most of all, they’re just really pretty to look at.
